The Timberliners are an all-voices a cappella chorus based in Broomfield, CO, with roots going back over 70 years. Under the direction of Jadyn Diaz, we sing four-part barbershop harmony alongside a wide range of other genres, and in 2018 we made history as the first mixed barbershop chorus in our region.

Our singers range in age from their 20s to their 80s. Couples, families, and first-time chorus singers are all part of our group. We provide a home for all singers, where a variety of backgrounds are represented, respected, and heard.

Summer of Song

Love to sing? Whether you’re a student home for the summer, a singer whose ensemble takes a summer break, or someone who’s just not ready for a year-round commitment, Summer of Song is the perfect fit.

Summer of Song is a free, short-term chorus experience for singers of all ages and all genders – no audition or experience required.

Rehearsals run Wednesdays in June & July (except July 1), 7:00–8:30 pm at Highway Community Church in Broomfield. The series wraps up with a community performance on Saturday, July 25 at 6:30 pm at the Boulder Library in Boulder.

Meet our director

Jadyn Diaz is a dedicated music educator with a degree in music education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a third-generation barbershopper, she brings a rich tradition to her passion for teaching. With six years of experience in music education, she has taught students from Pre-K to 12th grade and has also served as a coach and clinician for various groups across the country.

In 2017, she achieved success in the barbershop world by singing in the championship quartet, Adrenaline. Beyond her professional and musical pursuits, she shares her life with husband Christian Diaz, who shares her love for barbershop harmony, and their beloved dog, Sound.

We sing for fun and for growth! The Timberliners provide a home for all singers. We make sure that a variety of backgrounds are represented, respected and that all voices are heard.
